The Böcker Group consists of the trading company Klaus Böcker GmbH, its sales headquarters in the USA, Böcker America, as well as its own production plants Antigua Processors and Nkwaleni Processors.

How does your company contribute to the fight against
poverty and hunger?
Our company offers secure sales opportunities for fruit, including fruit that does not meet the quality standards of the fresh fruit trade. In this way, we support farmers, particularly in developing countries, and help to increase their productivity and secure their income, which contributes to the fight against poverty and hunger.
How does your company promote decent working conditions?
Our production sites offer good working conditions, modern equipment and healthcare for employees in rural areas. Through training and further education programs, we also ensure the qualification and professional development of these people, which contributes to the achievement of SDG 8.
What measures does your company take to reduce environmental pollution?
We are committed to reducing food waste, using water and energy more efficiently and are planning to switch to renewable energy at our production sites. Through these measures, we are reducing our environmental impact and contributing to the achievement of SDG 12 and 13.
How does your company support sustainable land use?
Our company relies on the cultivation of fruit trees, which is better for the soil and biodiversity than annual crops. We work with our suppliers to reduce the use of hazardous pesticides and gradually switch to organic alternatives, which helps to maintain soil fertility and supports SDG 15.
